The Mists of Boy's Grave - Forest of Dean

Legend has it that a gypsy boy, camping nearby, went to the srping to drink and fell on his knife,  killing himself. He is said to have been buried by an old oak that has long since disappeared.

A more likely explanation is that it comes from the Norman French ' Bois Greve' meaning sloping wood.
